The prints

What are the prints made on?

Fine Art Prints are produced on archival matte paper using the giclée process — acid-free, museum-quality, and built to last. Brushed Aluminum Prints are printed directly onto a brushed aluminum surface, frameless and ready to hang. Both formats are produced with the same care and intention as the original work.

Are these originals or reproductions?

These are fine art prints — high-quality reproductions of original abstract paintings by Sarah Mainprize. The originals are one-of-a-kind works. The prints make the work accessible in a format produced with the same attention to quality and longevity.

Are the prints museum quality?

Yes. Every print meets the standard used in gallery and institutional editions — archival inks, precise colour reproduction, and materials selected to preserve the depth and texture of the original work.

Will the colours look exactly like my screen?

Screens vary in calibration, so there may be subtle differences between what you see on screen and the finished print. Every effort is made to ensure the print faithfully represents the original. If colour accuracy is important to you, feel free to reach out before ordering.

Ordering & production

How are the prints produced?

Each print is made to order — nothing is held in stock. Your piece is produced once your order is placed, which allows for a more intentional process and ensures every print is handled with care.

How long will my order take?

Please allow 2–5 business days for production, followed by shipping:

  • Canada & United States: 5–10 business days
  • International: 7–14 business days

You'll receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. If you have a specific deadline, reach out before ordering and we'll do our best to help.

Returns & damage

What is your return policy?

Because each piece is printed specifically for you, all sales are final. We're not able to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect size selection — if you're unsure about sizing or placement, we're happy to help before you order.

What if my print arrives damaged?

If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. A replacement will be arranged at no additional cost.
